🤩 Tabling at Cumbernauld Comic Con! 🤩

Hi there wonderful art friends!

A couple of weekends ago I tabled at the BGCP Cumbernauld Comic Con!

It was a bit smaller than the Dundee one (pop back a couple of posts to check that out), and wasn’t quite as busy, but I still managed to cover my table fee! Despite the freezing conditions (the location we were in was SUPER DRAFTY!!!) we had a really good time hanging out with our fellow nerds and lots of people stopped by to say hello!

I really love doing comic cons – even when I don’t sell loads, I always leave feeling really happy because I’ve been surrounded by my people!

I just need to make more of an effort to start chatting with my fellow stallholders so I can make cool local art friends! I always feel a bit intimidated talking to my fellow art folk, especially as the standards of cool nerdy art at these cons is really high! and I’m pretty certain all the art I’m drawn to is made by really attractive women!! I need to stop being so bloody awkward! Does anyone have any tips for me on how to make friends as a socially anxious adult?! HALP!!!

Hope to see you all at the next one!

Check out my events calendar to see where you can catch me next!

Much arty love.
Chloe out.
